Jeju was formed by repeated volcanic eruptions.
Ejecta such as volcanic rocks and ash from the eruption of Mt. Hallasan, a volcano in Jeju, are the gifts of nature in Jeju created over approximately 10 million years. innisfree’s Volcanic Line products use volcanic ash, which is one form of ejecta.

Jeju volcanic ash is rich in minerals and has excellent absorptiveness of excessive sebum and dead skin cells due to its porous structure. Jeju volcanic rocks are designated as a resource to preserve by a special act, and volcanic ash can only be collected in certain permitted areas. The collected volcanic ash is used for cosmetic ingredients after having impurities removed at over 150 degrees and being ground into a fine powder.

HOW TO USE

Directions
After cleansing, apply onto dry face, avoiding the eye and lip area. After 10 minutes, gently massage with fingertips while rinsing off with lukewarm water. Use 1-2 times a week.

  • Great product, not harsh on the skin

    I've shopped around for clay masks and this was the only one I could find that didn't irritate my skin while clearing out my pores. After trying their sample, it was a game changer for my skin and always come back to the store for more!

  • works good, noticeable difference in pores

    The product works okay for its intended purpose. I originally sought this product out for my blackheads, but this product doesn’t seem to be a complete cure. I do see a difference after I apply this product, but it doesn’t last throughout the week (meaning I should apply it more often?). Also, the product is drying when you leave it to dry on your face, so I would recommend dryer skin types to avoid using this product frequently (I have dry combination skin).
