Oily skin types should refrain using this thick creamy mask. Pores are enlarged as well by the end
I've trialed 2 of the cream-style masks in the Innisfree Real Squeeze range (Coconut and Honey, I'm sorry!) but I think it's safe to say that if you have oily or even combination or sensitive skin you'd do well not to try a cream-style mask, shown on the bottom-right corner of the mask packet. The ginseng mask had a bitter wooden smell which was listed on the mask product deion so it didn't bother me much since I'm used to it but could pose an irritant to sensitive skin types. The cream was very rich and emollient and the mask was well covered with it. It contours well to the face. At the end the smell was still very noticeable and for someone with oily skin the results were pretty... eugh. My skin, far being chok chok was like an oil slick on steroids and my pores were extremely visible. As the day progressed, even without additional products like moisturizer the mask encourages sebum production and also melted off my face and the fragrance was overpowering. I also broke out in cystic acne a day later using this. On another note, if you have dry or normal skin this would be a good moisturizing pick me up.

Sensitive types be wary, but this product does the job
I was confused to see that brightening was claimed by a reviewer to be the end result of this mask, since collagen is a firming ingredient which is a stable in anti-aging regimes. On to my review, there is a definite step-up the Real Squeeze mask product line by Innisfree shown by the dollar difference; the mask does as promised. Soaked in plenty of essence which is of medium-light consistency and with a slight chemical smell it adhered well to face but would suggest lying flat since it does tend to slip and the eye holes will sag. There is a slight burn when I used this and as someone with acne-prone sensitive oily skin if you have sensitive skin best to do a patch test before slipping this on your face. I kept it longer than I should with the result that my skin felt intensely moisturized, plump and baby smooth and my skin felt very firm. Will repurchase, as this is a good pick me up

With a raw and bitter plant smell this product could be much improved
an oily skin-type perspective this essence mask is underwhelming- the essence is much thinner and compared to the neutral-smelling alternatives in the Real Squeeze range it has this raw bitter wooden smell, which I understand is the bamboo and the essence is more watery than what I've come to expect the Real Squeeze range. It plumped my skin well but simply was not up on par with the better essence-style masks of the same range, namely the Aloe and Cucumber Real Squeeze masks, which I suggest you try if you have oily skin.

Intensely moisturizes and on top of that, is fragrance-free
The mask does exactly what it is supposed to do; like other aloe products Innisfree produces in the skincare line, this essence-type mask is a watery concentrate of aloe extracts. It is non-irritating and extremely cooling and gentle on the skin. It is also one of the best-fitting masks I've tried. My skin had a luminous chok chok glow and my skin felt refreshed and plumped up. Definitely a stable if you have dehydrated skin (for those oily skin types) and a must for dry and sensitive skin types.

Does't brighten or firm but leave skin intensely hydrated
This mask is fragrance free and on my oily, sensitive and acne prone skin there was no irritation. Lots of essence in the mask, which contours well to the face, though is shorter on the nose and a margin of the forehead. My skin was well-hydrated and felt cooling and refreshed, but did not show any of the supposed benefits specific to the product. A nice way to pamper oneself but would advise to look elsewhere if brightening and firming is the end goal for you

Calming and Plumps Skin Beautifully
After trial and error I found I get the best results with this mask if I wear it over the 10-20 minute guideline, since my skin looks shiny if I remove it then but an extra ten minutes later looks wonderfully plump and fresh. There is no fragrance- thank goodness!- and plenty of essence and at the end my skin felt clean and plump and certainly had the desired chok chok aesthetic.

Cooling like no other clay mask
This mask is packaged so beautifully in a recyclable aluminum tin, product design is pleasing and organic, the mask feels cooling on the skin. However even after wearing it it did not remove all the sebum my pores around the nose area, nevertheless my skin felt softer, cooler, looked cleaner and pores were definitely less noticeable. Also the product should have come with a spatula, the circumference of the opening is quite narrow and it is tricky and unhygienic to pry my fingers into the tin to dig out the clay
