Love this mask!

Unlike the other reviewers I love the richness of this mask! I have normal combo skin and if I have overused acids or retinol in my skincare this mask is perfect to rebalance my skin. It is definitely on the heavy side but that’s actually the reason I love it, I had no issues with the essence absorbing into my skin and even finish with a moisturiser on top. Highly recommend for people with more normal or dry skin types.

I have fairly normal skin and used this mask after my usual nighttime skincare routine. This mask felt nice when on but left a sticky residue after taking the mask off that would not go away unless you wash it off. I went to sleep a couple of hours after using this mask and there was still serum on my face that was sticking to my pillows. Due to this stickiness, I can't really say how my skin felt after as it was untouchable, but I did not notice any differences in appearance after use or the next day.

I've trialed 2 of the cream-style masks in the Innisfree Real Squeeze range (Coconut and Honey, I'm sorry!) but I think it's safe to say that if you have oily or even combination or sensitive skin you'd do well not to try a cream-style mask, shown on the bottom-right corner of the mask packet. The ginseng mask had a bitter wooden smell which was listed on the mask product deion so it didn't bother me much since I'm used to it but could pose an irritant to sensitive skin types. The cream was very rich and emollient and the mask was well covered with it. It contours well to the face. At the end the smell was still very noticeable and for someone with oily skin the results were pretty... eugh. My skin, far being chok chok was like an oil slick on steroids and my pores were extremely visible. As the day progressed, even without additional products like moisturizer the mask encourages sebum production and also melted off my face and the fragrance was overpowering. I also broke out in cystic acne a day later using this. On another note, if you have dry or normal skin this would be a good moisturizing pick me up.
