After joining Innisfree as an accounting clerk in 1988, Carol Ruben helped organize and transition the accounting department from a manual accounting system to its current computerized system. In 1994, she was promoted to executive administrative assistant to Julian MacQueen, president and CEO. In 2001, Ms. Ruben was promoted to vice president of Administration and Human Resources, responsible for employee benefits for the hotels and corporate office.
Ms. Ruben began her career in the industry with National American Corporation (NACO), one of the largest vacation membership RV camping resorts in the United States, where she organized and supervised restaurant, grocery store, housekeeping and reservations for 100 campsites in Tennessee and South Carolina. Ms. Ruben holds a degree in Business and Accounting from Pensacola Junior College.
